How it works

Three moves, and the third one is ours.

1

Share the page

In Safari or a shop's app, tap Share and choose saveIt. Or paste a link, pick a screenshot of the page, or scan a QR code. Then say when you want to hear: below a price you name, at any real drop, or at its lowest yet.

2

Your phone does the checking

The page is fetched from your device, the way Safari would fetch it, and the price is read from the shop's own page. There's no server of ours in the middle, and every price says when it was last read.

3

One alert, when it matters

A drop is news the day it happens, and pennies are ignored. If it falls further, that's news again. Glance at a widget, ask Siri what's ready to buy, or choose how loud saveIt may be in each Focus.

The app

A watchlist that tells you what's ready to buy.

The saveIt watchlist. A dark card at the top shows £52 below their highs and £4 saved. One product is under Ready to buy with a price rail; another is under Watching.
WatchlistWhat's ready to buy sits at the top, and everything else shows how far it has to go.
A product in saveIt marked 'Lowest ever', with a 90-day step chart of its price, every cut marked in green, and the line where alerts fire.
HistoryEvery product keeps its price history. Each cut is marked, so a real deal stands out.
The Track price form: any price drop, drops below my price, or lowest price yet, and a switch to hear when it's back in stock.
TrackPick the rule when you share it, and ask to hear when it's back in stock.
A savings card reading 'I saved £4.00', with the price paid against the most it cost while it was watched.
SavedTap “I bought it”, record what you paid, and see what waiting saved you.

What's different

Built to be trusted with an interruption.

Any shop
Works with most shops that show their price on the product page. The Shops tab is a starting point, not a limit. Share any product page and saveIt reads it.
Honest freshness
Every price says when it was last read. When a shop stops answering, saveIt says so and keeps showing the last price it actually read. It never claims a check that didn't happen.
Quiet by design
Alerts start quietly, in Notification Centre, until you let them do more.Three or more changes in one check collapse into one notification. A price tracker people mute is no use to anyone.
Kind to shops
Checks are spaced out, and saveIt backs off when a shop asks it to.Checks it schedules for itself stay on Wi-Fi and respect Low Data Mode.
On device
No account, no sign-in, no upload.Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight and widgets all work from the copy on your phone. The privacy policy is short because there's little to say.

Two limits, stated up front. Some shops turn away automated checks, or build their pages in a way saveIt can't read even after drawing the page itself. saveIt says which, rather than guessing. And iOS decides when apps may work in the background, so a 3am flash sale can be missed.

Both are real, both are shown in the app, and neither is hidden behind a paywall. Questions go to support.
